Delete your account

This is the account deletion page for IMAFUL (operated by IMAFUL LAB). You can request deletion of your account and associated data in the app or on this page.
How to request deletion
- In the app: open Me > Settings (gear) > Delete account, read the explanation, confirm, and tap “Request deletion”.
- On this page: log in with the email address and password registered to IMAFUL using the form below, and request deletion. You do not need to open the app.
If you cannot log in, reset your password from “Forgot password?” on the app’s login screen. If that does not help, contact support@imaful.com from the email address registered to your account.
What happens after you request deletion
- Immediately: your profile and posts are hidden from other users.
- For 30 days: a grace period. Log in to the same account in the app to cancel the deletion and restore your account.
- After 30 days: your account and associated data are permanently deleted. Once permanently deleted, they cannot be restored.
Data that is deleted
- Your account (login information and email address), date of birth and consent records
- Your profile (name, @ID, icon, header image and bio)
- Posts, photos (including stored image files), tags and reactions
- Friends, friend requests, blocks and nicknames
- Messages (deleted as whole conversations you took part in; the other person can no longer see them either)
- Notifications and notification settings
Records kept after deletion
To prevent violations of our Terms and abuse, and to handle disputes and legal requirements, we keep report records (including copies of reported messages) and records of actions we took for a period of time after your account is deleted. Your ID in these records is replaced with a reference that is not linked to you, and your @ID and profile are not kept. See our Privacy Policy for retention periods.
Request deletion on this page
Your login details are used only for this request and are not stored on this page. Requesting deletion here does not log you out of the app, but your account is immediately hidden from other users.
